The Plantronics APU-76 electronic hookswitch adapter (EHS) allows the user to answer and end a call from the headset from anywhere in the office within a 350 ft. range (longer than a football field). The APU76 EHS eliminates the need for mechanical lifting of the handset receiver since the hookswitch capability is provided electronically by the specific Nortel, Avaya, Mitel/Aastra and Cisco telephone models listed above. For use with CS500-Series (such as CS540, CS530, CS510, CS520) and Savi Office W700-series (such as W710, W720, W730, W740, W745) as well as the Voyager Legend CS Wireless Headsets.

IMPORTANT: When using the APU-76 EHS cable you will not able to simultaneously connect to your desk phone. Only one device at a time can be connected.
