The Plantronics Polaris cable is used as the replacement for any P-series (Polaris) headset and is also used in conjunction with H-series headsets when connected to Polycom Soundpoint IP phones and AltiGen IP phones. Please note that this cable (QuickDisconnect to square, modular plug) looks identical to many other Plantronics cables with the same size connectors, however, the cables have differing internal properties.
