Eliminate the need for the HL10 handset lifter with your Plantronics wireless headset! The Plantronics Headset Hookswitch Control (HHC) adapter (APC-4 Hookswitch Control) works only with the following Cisco Unified IP phone models: 7975G, 7965G, 7945G, 7962G, and 7942G. It does not work with any other Cisco IP phone models at this time. If you have one of the noted phone models above, use the HHC instead of the HL10 for more seamless remote operation in conjunction with any of the Plantronics wireless headset systems (such as CS55, CS70, CS70N, CS351N, CS361N and Voyager 510S).

The Cisco HHC adapter enables remote ring alert and call answer/end capability on your wireless headset from up to 300 feet away from your phone, allowing you to move freely throughout the office environment without missing a call (and without the need for the external handset lifter HL10). One year factory warranty.

NOTE: The firmware for your Cisco Unified IP phones must be 8.3(3) or higher and the software in the Cisco Unified Communications Manager has to be 4.1(30) or higher. You must also ensure that the "hook switch control feature" in the Cisco phone is enabled. On the phone, you can verify that the feature is enabled by choosing the "Settings" button > scroll to Device Configuration > scroll to Media Configuration, and verify that the Headset Hookswitch Control setting displays "Enabled." If your software/firmware is incompatible withe hookswitch adapter, you may opt instead for the HL10 automatic handset lifter.
