Plantronics APA2 is for use with Alcatel 4029 and Alcatel 4039 phones in conjunction with Plantronics wireless headsets. This EHS (Electronic Hookswitch) allows the user to answer and end one call at a time from his/her wireless headset from anywhere within the 300 ft. range. This adapter eliminates the need for the automatic handset lifter (HL1 or HL10). It contains an integrated ring sensor and generates an audible beep sound in the wireless headset. Simply press the talk button on your earpiece to answer/end your call. This EHS will only work with specific Alcatel phone models as they are provisioned with electronic hookswitch functionality.
