All feature Quick Disconnect and come with the necessary A10 connector cord (QD to modular plug) to connect directly to your telephone's headset port. It is not necessary to lift the telephone handset to initiate a call since your phone is headset-ready. (Note: Some of these Packet 8 phone models may also be labeled with the "Aastra" logo.)

IMPORTANT TELEPHONE PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS:
To initially set up the headset button on your Packet8 phone press OPTIONS, then choose PREFERENCES, then choose SET AUDIO, then choose AUDIO MODE, then choose HEADSET or choose HEADSET/SPEAKERPHONE if you want the button to act as a toggle between headset and speakerphone. Now you're ready to use the headset button to answer and end a call on your headset!
