This device allows the user to answer and end calls from the headset remotely while away from the desk by simply pressing the talk button on the earpiece. An audible beep tone is provided in the earpiece to alert the user to an incoming call. The call answer/end function is all electronic (rather than mechanical as it is with the HL10 handset lifter). No lifter is needed!

IMPORTANT: For the Grandstream models listed above, you will also need an adapter extension cord in order for the EHS cord to reach the necessary port (part 85638-01).

Note: Grandstream GXP phones require programming in order for the EHS cord to properly answer/end calls from the headset. If you are unable to control a call from the earpiece, contact your Grandstream representative or follow these programming instructions:

On your computer browser, type in your Grandstream phone's IP address. Go to settings > preferences > audio control and select “Plantronics EHS Headset” instead of “normal." Reboot your phone. If that does not work, try Settings->Audio Control: Headset Type. Select "Plantronics EHS" and then reboot the phone.
