  Plantronics PA-8 Polaris Amplifier
(Part #65549-01)If your phone is direct-connect, headset-ready (click here to see list of headset-ready direct-connect phones), your telephone already supplies amplification for the Plantronics headset; however, if you desire a greater inbound volume boost than your telephone's volume control is able to provide, the PA8 is ideal. The PA-8 is an in-line volume control which plugs into your phone's headset port. Your headset's direct connect modular (RJ9) connector will plug into the female RJ-9 modular port on the other end of the PA-8 amp. Note: This amplifier does NOT increase the volume of your voice (outbound microphone volume). It only increases what you hear (inbound speaker volume). If you need to increase your outbound mic volume, call us to discuss an alternate solution.
