Plantronics PA-8 Polaris Amplifier
(Part #65549-01)If your phone is Polaris-compatible (click here to see list of headset-ready Polaris-compatible phones), your telephone already supplies amplification for the P-series headset; however, if you desire a greater inbound volume boost than your telephone's volume controls are able to provide, the PA-8 is ideal. The PA-8 is an in-line volume control which plugs into your phone's headset port. Your Polaris headset will plug into the female modular port on the other end of the PA-8 amp. Note: This amplifier does NOT increase the volume of your voice (outbound microphone volume). It only increases what you hear (inbound speaker volume). If you need to increase your outbound mic volume, call us to discuss a solution other than Polaris. (Sorry, no photo of the PA-8 available at this time.)
